Jughead was long-haired black, with white markings. I don't remember why I named him Jughead.

He and I had a short, unhappy relationship. He walked on sick. I caged him in the house and tried to help him heal up, but he wasn't doing well. I took him to the veterinarian, who discovered he had been bitten in the throat.

I did everything I could, but even with antibiotics, he continued to deteriorate. He was slavering by the time he finally bit me in annoyance one day; and that, sadly was the end of him. He had to be tested for rabies (which required him to be put down).

Sorry, kitty, you deserved a longer, happier life.
